Food WebWe are generalists, which is a term to describe a species that does not rely on a single source of prey. Several different animals, such as the sika deer and hare, are prey for us.
This food web displays the animals that we prey on, as well as other organisms that our prey feed on. These animals are crucial to the Amur Leopard diet. |
Energy Pyramid
This energy pyramid shows the amount of energy passed from the producer, which is the grass, to each consumer. The sika deer is the primary consumer, receiving 10% energy from the grass. The energy is then passed along to us, the Amur Leopards, as the secondary consumer. We receive 1% of the energy that originated from the grass.
